30 Lakh for Saayad 2 before starting the shooting

Saayad was Suraj Subba directed movie, which had gone viral in the theaters and become blockbuster hit movie. Samyam Puri was the lead starring character of Saayad. Specially Saayad movie was made targeting to youngster who take wrong way and dismantle their own lives.

Reportedly, its sequel “Saayad 2” is going to be made and its director will be replaced by Puspa Raj Neupane who has already worked some hit Hindi movies like “Dangerous Ishq”, “Raaj 3” and “Hate Story 2 and 3” etc.

In addition, Hindi serials like “Gita”, “Madhubala”, “Sabadhan India” etc are his co-direction projects.

Similar to the “Saayad”, Saayad 2 will also focus on the social things. Basically, its shooting will be taken in Japan and Nepal. But starring artists have not been chosen yet. It is reported that Durgis Films is going to cast newcomers in this movie.

Updated 2015/12/08: Before starting the shooting of the movie “Saayad 2” – sequel of the blockbuster movie Saayad has already got 30 lakh by only its scripts. FD company has invested 30 lakh MG (Minimum Guaranty). As stated in Merocinema, Narendra Maharajan said that they invested such huge amount before starting of the shooting because of the well known brand value and better script of the movie. In Nepali Film History, this is the first time that a movie has been bought giving preference to the script.
