3 Things Made Nepal Spotlighted in 2015
Despite happening of the good things or bad things, Nepal became the highlights in 2015 from the starting.
1) April 25 and May 12 Earthquake: Lets go to the first thing which was one of the biggest news of the world in 2015, which happened in April 25. Exactly, that is the biggest one devastating earthquake, magnitude of 8.01 Richter scale hit Nepal. Reportedly, nearly 10 thousand people died by this quake and 5 thousands homes were completely destroyed. Now most earthquake victims are living in temporary cottage ie tent. In this cold weather, nearly 10 – 20 earthquake victims died of cold. But government has not provided any relief to those people.
2) New Constitution: Another spotlight thing happened in Nepal in 2015 is the first republic constitution of Nepal. However, some Terai concentrate parties are not accepting this constitution and still they are rebelling against the constitution. But this is the first time in Nepal, a citizen made constitution had been applied.
3) Blockade by India: In 2015, the neighbor country India blockaded Nepal and the blockade is still going on. Everything of Nepal has been directly affected by the blockade badly. The people of Nepal are living the harsh time ever. There are lack of fuel and medicines in Nepal which can bring the most harsh time for Nepali people in coming days. First time, the relation between Nepal and India goes down badly. Nepalese are criticizing the India because of blockade. Once, in Twitter there were trending “Back Off India” which were twitted by Nepalese people where Pakistanis were also seemed to be participated.
