A Film Industry Without Stars – Nepali Film Industry !
There are hundreds of movies built every year in Nepali Film Industry. Among them, few movies succeed to become hit in the box office. More than 70% movie even fails to collect back their investment. It is only because of the lack of superstars in Nepali Film Industry. Besides Dayahang Rai and Anmol KC, we can not see one more star whose star power works in Nepali Box Office.
By the way, Nepali Film History has already crossed nearly 50 years. But it has not become an industry since it is not taken as industry by Government. Unlike the Bollywood and Hollywood Movies, Nepali Film has low budget capacity due to the small market. However, every year, there builds some good movies which also become successful in Nepali Box Office.
