Dal Bhat Tarkari Movie Review

Multi starrer movie Dal Bhat Tarkari has released all over Nepal from 4 May, 2019. It is the come back movie of Niruta Singh after a long gap from Nepal film industry. It is a movie of Maha Jodi along with Pushpa Khadka and Aanchal Sharma are in lead roles. However, the movie has failed to satisfy the audience as the movie has got average reaction from the audience and poor reviews from the critics.

The movie begins with a lengthy family quarrel, boringly acted with artificial dialogues; it ends with a clichéd moral lesson about patriotism and national development. Between them are stale jokes (such as interpreting DV as Dolakha Bhimsen and giving people odd names like ‘Jiu Sanchai’ by combining initials of the parents), which cannot make the audience laugh.
