Kathmandu District Court Withdraws Case Against Film Aktor: Take One

The Kathmandu District Court has decided to withdraw the case filed against the film Aktor: Take One. The court issued the order to withdraw the case on Friday, as confirmed by a letter sent to the Film Association.

On the previous Friday, Samrat Thapa, representing Nepal Diaspora Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., had filed a case regarding copyright issues against the Film Development Board.

Following this, the court had issued an immediate order to halt the film’s screening. However, on Thursday, both parties reached an agreement, including the decision to withdraw the case.
