Aamir Khan Confirms He’s Actively Working on His Dream Project Mahabharata
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has once again spoken about his long-cherished dream project, Mahabharata. While attending the ABP Network’s Ideas of India 2025, he revealed that he is actively exploring ways to bring the epic to life on screen. He also emphasized his desire to create more content for children, noting that India lacks original productions in this genre and often relies on international content.
Khan further highlighted his commitment to nurturing fresh talent in the industry through his production house. He cited films like Laapataa Ladies as an example, which introduced young actors like Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, and Sparsh Shrivastava, along with director Kiran Rao.
Discussing the state of Bollywood, Aamir stressed the importance of better recognition for writers and the need for more cinema halls in India to reach wider audiences. He noted that while China has over 100,000 cinema halls, India still lags with only 10,000.
On the work front, Aamir Khan is gearing up for Sitaare Zameen Par, the sequel to his 2007 hit Taare Zameen Par. The film, co-starring Darsheel Safary and Genelia Deshmukh, is set for a Christmas 2025 release.
