“Ramkrishna Dhakal’s Two-Decade Comeback: Producing ‘Malti Mangale’ after a Long Hiatus”

Kathmandu: Singer Ramkrishna Dhakal is set to make a comeback to the film industry after two decades. This time, he will return not as an actor, but as a producer.

The film he is producing is titled Malti Mangale. It will be made under the banner of Rani Music International Pvt. Ltd., named after his daughter, Rani Dhakal.

Directed by Prakash Pandey, the film’s budget is set at 10 million Nepali rupees. According to sources, Dhakal has already secured the necessary production permissions. Ramkrishna and Neelam Shah Dhakal will be credited as the producers.

Ramkrishna Dhakal previously appeared in the film Ashirwad, produced by Gopal Karmacharya, two decades ago. The film was also said to be a biopic, showcasing his musical career journey.

While detailed information about the cast and crew of Malti Mangale has not yet been disclosed, it is certain that the film will be highly intriguing. Malti Mangale is a famous poem written by Madhav Ghimire. However, it is still unclear whether the film will be based on this poem or if it will be a different concept altogether.
