Selena Gomez Announces New Album and Teases First Single
Selena Gomez has officially announced the release of her upcoming album, I Said I Love You First, which is set to drop on March 21. To build anticipation, she has also unveiled the first single from the album, now available for streaming.
Sharing the news on social media, Gomez expressed her excitement, writing, “We can’t wait to share this special project with you soon.” Her fiancé, Benny Blanco, echoed her sentiments in a heartfelt post, sharing behind-the-scenes moments from their album photoshoot and adding, “I can’t believe I get to spend the rest of my life with you.”
The couple, who announced their engagement in December 2024, went public with their relationship a year earlier. Blanco, a renowned producer, has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Ed Sheeran, BTS, Eminem, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, The Weeknd, and Ariana Grande. He and Gomez have collaborated on music before, strengthening both their personal and professional bond.
Gomez’s return to music comes alongside her growing presence in the film industry. She recently starred in Emilia Pérez, a critically acclaimed film that earned 13 Oscar nominations. Despite the movie being at the center of controversy due to resurfaced social media posts from one of its stars, Gomez remains proud of her work.
“Some of the magic has disappeared, but I choose to continue to be proud of what I’ve done,” she shared. “I’m just grateful and live with no regrets. And I would do this movie over and over again if I could.”
With her album release on the horizon, fans eagerly await what’s next from Gomez, both in music and beyond.
