Trailer for Romantic Drama Mayavi, Starring Paul Shah and Deepika Prasai, Unveiled

Kathmandu – The trailer for the romantic drama Mayavi, starring Paul Shah and Deepika Prasai, has been released. The trailer was unveiled at a press conference on Thursday, offering insights into the film’s storyline and character development.

Centered around love and sacrifice, the three-minute trailer sets the stage for an emotional journey. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Pokhara, the film revolves around the romance between Paul and Deepika, exploring the obstacles that test their relationship.

Directed by Diwakar Bhattarai, Mayavi is set to capture the Valentine’s Day spirit. At a time when romantic films are scarce in Nepali cinema, the director hopes Mayavi will fill that gap for audiences.

The film features an ensemble cast, including Prashant Tamrakar, Sushil Sitaula, Karishma Shrestha, Samim Khan, Laxmi Giri, Anshu Maharjan, Rajaram Paudel, and Ravi Dangol. The story, screenplay, and direction are all by Diwakar Bhattarai.

Produced under the banner of Creative Cine Arts Pvt. Ltd., the film is backed by Dhruva Neupane, Raj Katuwal, and Chandra Pant, with Prabin Bhattarai and Karan Singh serving as executive producers. Additionally, Manju Bhandari, Raju Parajuli, and Sumit Wali have contributed as co-producers.

Mayavi is set to hit theaters on Falgun 14.
