Urvashi Rautela Responds to Backlash Over Daaku Maharaaj Song
Urvashi Rautela has finally addressed the backlash surrounding the Dabidi Dibidi song from Daaku Maharaaj, a track that features her and Nandamuri Balakrishna. Some fans criticized the bold choreography, but Urvashi clarified that the song was designed specifically for Balakrishna’s fans. She explained that every lyric and move was crafted with their mindset in mind.
Reflecting on the choreography, Urvashi shared that the rehearsals with choreographer Master Shekar went smoothly, as it was her fourth time working with him. She was surprised by the negative response, as everything had gone according to plan during practice.
Urvashi emphasized that the song was meant to be fun and massy, and she never expected the reaction it received. Despite the criticism, she remains open to constructive feedback and continues to stay focused on her passion for her craft.
Daaku Maharaaj, directed by Bobby Kolli, premiered on January 12 and marked Bobby Deol’s Telugu debut.
