The late Shashi Prabhu, who worked with Govinda during the filming of Ilzaam, passed away on March 6 in Mumbai after battling heart issues. In the wake of his passing, Govinda was seen supporting Prabhu’s family, even wiping away tears in emotional moments captured by the media.

However, the confusion arose because both secretaries shared the same first name, leading to mistaken identity. Shashi Sinha addressed the rumors in a statement, clarifying, “I have been receiving condolences and calls all day due to the false news of my death. It’s all because of the mix-up with the names.”

Sinha also took a moment to reflect on the close relationship between Govinda and his late former secretary, sharing how deeply affected the actor was by Prabhu’s passing.
