Jante Bakhro: A Social Comedy Film Announces Release Date with First Look Reveal

Kathmandu: The release date for the movie Jante Bakhro has been announced. Starring actor Saugat Malla, Aashif Shah, and actress Garima Sharma in lead roles, the film revealed its first look along with the premiere date. According to the official poster, the movie is set to hit theaters on Jestha 23 (June 5, 2025).

The poster, set against the backdrop of the Himalayas, features Aashif and Garima in a romantic pose, while Saugat appears with a disappointed expression. Between them, a goat wearing glasses is prominently displayed. The production team seems to depict Jante Bakhro as a symbolic representation of the traditional feast given to wedding guests on the day of the bride’s homecoming.

Directed by Simos Sunuwar, the movie boasts an ensemble cast, including Rama Thapaliya, Lokendra Lekhak, Kamal Devkota, Bishal Pahadi, Rusha Neupane, Kusum Sharma, Sneha Joshi, Samapika Gautam, and Kushal Gazmer, alongside the lead trio.

Presented by Muin Entertainment, Jante Bakhro is a social comedy film. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Pradeep Bhardwaj, while Santosh Gautam serves as the producer.
