Akshay Kumar starer Toilet – Ek Prem Katha started with slow box office collection in the opening slow; nevertheless, its evening shows picked up its collection that made it 6th highest opener in Bollywood this year.

Opening day: 13 crore approx.

Toilet – Ek Prem Katha has become 6th highest opener after Baahubali 2, Tubelight, Raees, Harry Met Sejal and Jolly LLB 2. Although its morning show of opening days was slow, it picked up in the evening shows. In this movie, Bhumi Padnekar is in opposite of Akshay Kumar.

It is an average budget movie. Its actual budget is 40 crore including all printing and advertising cost and excluding salary of Akshay Kumar. He will take share profits of the movie.
