“Pushpa 2 Star Jagapathi Babu Begins Filming ‘Mirai’ in Nepal”

Kathmandu: South Indian star Jagapathi Babu, known for his role in Pushpa 2, began filming his upcoming movie Mirai in Kirtipur on Tuesday. He arrived in Kathmandu on Monday evening and joined the shooting set today.

During his stay in Nepal, Jagapathi Babu plans to explore nearby tourist destinations alongside filming. According to production controller Pushkar Lama, the actor has already participated in the shoot taking place in Kirtipur.

Renowned for his work in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi cinema, Jagapathi Babu recently played the role of a Chief Minister in Pushpa 2, which is also currently screening in Nepal.

The second phase of Mirai’s filming will take place in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Kirtipur, Dolakha, Pokhara, and Mustang. Actress Shriya Saran, along with the cast, arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday for the shoot, which is scheduled to last 16 days. Saran is well known for her roles in Drishyam and Drishyam 2.
