Karan Johar Reviews Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s Loveyapa: “An Unforgettable Popcorn Ride”

Ahead of the release of Loveyapa, the romantic comedy starring Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan, a special screening was held in Mumbai, attended by Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Sachin Tendulkar, and Raj Thackeray, all there to support the star kids.

After watching the film, Karan Johar shared a glowing review, calling it “2025’s first love story success.” He praised the film’s ensemble cast, particularly Khushi and Junaid, saying viewers will “fall in love with all the characters” and cheer for the charming leads.

Johar also commended director Advait Chandan for the film’s pacing, energy, humor, emotion, and storytelling. He ended his message by congratulating Madhu Mantena, Shrishti Behl, and the entire team, calling the movie “the best popcorn ride” he’s had at the cinema in a while.
