Loveyapa Box Office Collection Day 3: Khushi Kapoor, Junaid Khan’s Film Nears ₹5 Crore Mark

Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s Loveyapa is steadily approaching ₹5 crore at the box office. On its third day, the Advait Chandan directorial earned ₹1.65 crore, bringing its total domestic collection to ₹4.45 crore, according to Sacnilk. On its first Sunday, the film had a 16.35% occupancy rate in Hindi theaters.

The comedy-drama features Khushi Kapoor as Baani Sharma and Junaid Khan as Gaurav Sachdeva, with Ashutosh Rana, Grusha Kapoor, Kiku Sharda, Tanvika Parlikar, and Devishi Madaan in supporting roles.

Ahead of the release, Karan Johar attended a special screening and praised the film on Instagram, calling it a “great time at the movies” and a love story that resonates with Gen Z. He also praised the chemistry between the leads, Junaid and Khushi.

In an NDTV review, film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave Loveyapa 2.5 out of 5 stars, highlighting its exploration of love and trust in today’s fast-paced, hyperconnected world.

Loveyapa marks the big-screen debut of Khushi Kapoor, daughter of Sridevi, and Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan. Khushi previously appeared in Netflix’s The Archies, while Junaid made his debut in Netflix’s Maharaj, released in June 2024.
