Vinegar Syndrome Threat of Destroying History of Nepali Film

Nepali movie history retains in 3 thousand reels since all the old movies have been stored in them. There has not been made any digital archive to collect old Nepali movies. Reportedly, those data seems to be damaged soon if digital archive is not made soon.

In those reels, many old movies along with first Nepali movie “Satya Harishchandra” have been stored. Reportedly, those reels have been affected by Vinegar Syndrome, which will destroy all the reels soon. So, in order to save nepali movie history, an alternative of reel archive must be used as soon as possible.
