Amarpanchhi – Rising from the ashes was successfully held on 14 May, 2016. There were thousands of audience on the Tudhikhel Ground. As we already stated, Bollywood actresses “Sonakshi Sinha and Malaika Arora Khan” had been invited in the program. They both came Nepal and performed. They both said that they got very much love from Nepali audiences. Sonakshi Sinha has promised that she will again come back to Nepal as she got lots of love and supports from Nepali fans and followers.

As Kantipur Daily wrote headline “Nepal Army General to welcome actress”, there has been wide criticism to the recently held program “Amarpanchhi – Rising from the ashes”. Even Nepali actor “Rajesh Hamal” has expressed his feelings in his facebook wall when he read such news in the front page of the most popular daily newspaper of the country.

Rajesh Hamal writes, “Nepal Army: The Pride of the Nation….But…. when I read today’s news my pride as a citizen has been shattered….as an humble artist of this nation I feel humilated…If they had to receive the artists from abroad they should have done in plain clothes.”

In fact, there is also some truths in this news and quotation of Rajesh Hamal. We must be aware with our dignity. How a man like them who are staying in the power house of the country can go to welcome an actress in the formal dress. Nepal Army is only the glory of Nepal. From monarchy to till days, they have never been defeated. They are actually the real heroes of Nepal. But Such kind of activities really lessens honor feeling of Nepalese towards them.

In short, Nepal Army is to save the Nepal and Nepalese, not for welcoming any actress either they are from Kallywood, Bollywood or even Hollywood. However, concerned authority must be aware to the safety of their guests. So they have to appeal government to provide safety. Only then government should consider how many security guards to provide for those celebrities.
