Celebrity Card – Controversy

From the couple of years, Nepalese Film artist had been demanding the celebrity card like Bollywood and Hollywood actors do have. After all, in 2072 Nepali Film Development board has announced that they will provide Celebrity card observing the status and popularity of artist. However, it has come into controversy as some artist who are allegedly active in Maoists have objected this decision.

According to All Nepal Film Workers Association leader KP Pathak, this will degrade the relation between artist or film workers and can cause the division among the artist. He also said that audience evaluate the grade of artist.

Film Development Board has been preparing to distribute the celebrity card but such kind of controversy can raise the sounds of oppositions.
