Champion Nepali Movie – Dikpal Karki

Nikhil Upreti was fixed in the movie Champion. But at last hour he denied to work because of his busy time schedule to promote his upcoming releasing movie Bhairav. However the shooting of the movie has been started from Shrawan 1 taking Dikpaal, who had started his filmy career from Ranga Baijani. But the movie had not done good business in box office. Now he is coming in new movie Champion. This movie can be a turning point of Dikpaal’s filmy career.

Champion is produced by Tekmani Pokhrel. In the opposite of Dikpaal, a new actress is going to be debuted and she is Manjita KC. This movie is quite about a boy who loves cricket very much, struggles to get success in his cricket life.

An under 19 national cricket player is also in the cameo role in this movie.

Producer Krishna Pokharel is confidence about the success of this movie, though there is less Nepali movie made based on sports.

Updated 08-12-2015: Its song “Mann Paraauchu Timilaai” has been released, however, its releasing date has not been fixed yet. But the movie might be released within this year. Except Dikpaal Karki and Manjita KC, JL Ghimire and Sahil Khan are also in lead roles of this movie.

Updated 29/01/2016: The trailer and first look of the movie Champion was released by the Nepali Cricket captain Paras Khadka. He has also revealed about the offer of a movie to him. He also requested to make movie based on sports.
