Top 6 Highest Grosser Nepali Movies in 2015

In 2015, there were few movies released in Nepali Movie Industry because of the Earthquake of April 25 and May 12. Almost 17 movies were released. Among them only 6 movies have succeeded to gain profit.

Resham Filili: 
Resham Filili is a Nepali movie made by Pranav Joshi starring Vinaya Shrestha and Menuka Pradhan. It opened in box office with fantastic collection in April 24. Unfortunately, a devastating earthquake hit Nepal tomorrow of its release. However, it was released on Bhadra 11, and it goes quite good in box office collecting 57 lakh only in 3 days.

Bhairav:

Bhairav was also released in Bhadra 11. Despite of its clash with Resham Filili, it made good money for producer. It collected 1 crore 75 lakh approx only in 2 weeks. This movie was the comeback of Nikhil in Nepali movie industry after spending 2 years in Mumbai.

Hostel Returns: 
Hostel Returns is the sequel of Hostel which was released on 2013, directed by Suraj Bhusal. It is a teenager’s psychological social movie, specially suitable for teenagers/youngsters. Its 9 days total collection was 1 crore 91 lakh approx.

Oda No. 6: 
Nepali TV Comedy actors are its lead characters – Deepak Raj Giri, Dhurmus (Sitaram Kattel), Magne Budha, Jitu Nepal etc. It showed the star power of TV actors. Its 2 days collection was nearly 80 lakh.

Paradeshi:
This is another movie of Prashant Tamang in Nepali Film Industry. It is the highest grosser of 2015 in Nepali Film Industry. It is said that it collected more than 5 crore.

Kabaddi Kabaddi:

Kabaddi Kabaddi is second highest grosser of 2015 in Nepali Movie Industry. It is the sequel of Kabaddi movie. Its lead casts are Dayahang and Saugat. It has got mixed reviews from the audiences.
