2 state movie shows inter-caste marriage relationship. This is not new for bollywood but 2 states is also based on the “two states” of Chetan Bhagat. In this movie Arjun who is the male leading character of this movie is the North Indian boy and Aliya who is female sweetheart of this movie is a southindian girl, they love each other and wish to get married but their appears an obstacle. They both are in love with each other and they also arenot dependent with their families. Their parrents and some other people feel that they deserve their partner in their own community why to marry with another community. This movie is directed by Abhisek Varman who almost able to give answer of the questions appearing in the minds of both lovers and also their families.
Although both lover donot have conflict, they both should persuade their families and they win their trusts after making their families overcome of cultural differences of their.
This is a story of a couple journey Arjun as Krish Malhotra and Alia as Ananya Swaminathan. They meet with each other in the Ahmedabad and they get fall in love with each other but the obastacle comes when they decide to marry with eachother.

“Two States” has got great response from the audience and they mark block buster record becoming third highest of the 2014 after “Gunday” and “Jai Ho”.

Opening Day Collection of 2 States is 12.42 crore

In the Opening Week it became able to collect 38.06 crore. So as at the end of the week it reached upto 60.77.

So the lifetime collection of this movie is 76.3 crore.
